From « Jeunesse Action Sécurité » to SEGIC SARL: the story of a Senegalese security company founded in 1996.
The company was founded in 1996 under the name « Jeunesse Action Sécurité ». It became SEGIC SARL — Société d'Entretien, de Gardiennage, d'Intérim et de Commerce (Cleaning, Guarding, Temporary Staffing and Trading Company) — as it gradually broadened its scope.
Guarding remains the foundation: site surveillance, access control, and protection of people and property for individuals, businesses and professionals.
These were later joined by the escort of private assets and cash-in-transit services for financial institutions, event security nationwide, and then the placement of temporary staff in civil engineering, electrical work, construction and industry.
What has not changed is the way of working: punctual teams, trained in the security profession, who operate in compliance with safety standards and current regulations.
